Vinyasa Yoga Can Be Divided Into Three Different Vinyasa Types:

Vinyasa Krama is a sequenced set in which you hold each pose for a certain amount of breaths. This also means that vinyasas are repeated several times with the same poses. vinyasa yoga is not vinyasa krama.

Vinyasa Flow is also called flow vinyasa or moving vinyasa. There are no set vinyasas but the vinyasa moves through different poses that you don’t hold for more than a few breaths each. Vinyasa flow can be subdivided into vinyasa flow with vinyasas and vinyasa flow without vinyasas.

During vinyasa flow with vinyasas the vinyasa moves between poses that are held for several breaths, whereas during vinyasa flow without vinyasas you move through different poses that are not held for more than just a few breaths. vinyasa flow is the most common vinyasa type practiced in vinyasa yoga nowadays.
